Slink It In Snakeprint!

Snakeprint never seems to go out of fashion. Each season, sensational serpentine seems to slither it’s way back onto the catwalks, the high street and into our wardrobes! Salvatore Ferragamo showcased a nipped in, seventies style silhouette as part of his Spring/Summer RTW collection at Milan Fashion Week. Who better to rock a Fendi boa inspired black and green dress than model Adwoa Aboah? For me, the most coveted item on the Milanese catwalk was the snakeprint bag by Tod’s. The look was kept casual and summery by pairing it with an all white ensemble.

Snakeprint is irresistible but the thought of forking out a month’s rent on a designer bag freaks me out! Thankfully there are great deals to be had on the high street and online. I popped into Zara last week and tried on a stunning black and brown, button-down, belted dress (€59.95). Comfortable and stylish, it embodies a seventies vibe with a pointed shirt collar and below the knee dress length. Make a statement at the office by combining this with strappy shoes and a tan brown tote bag.  You have a classic work wardrobe staple for A/W 2018!

I’m proud to say these gravity defying stilletos have been a wardrobe staple of mine for 5 years. They are perfect worn with a little black dress to create a glamorous look for a night out on the town. Like leopard print, less is more when it comes to wearing snakeprint.  A classic and timeless look can be created by pairing a black dress or coat with a snakeprint bag or a pair of heels or boots.

Miranda Kerr is one of my favourite fashion icons as she knows how to rock a classic look. She makes a statement in a stunning double-breasted, three-quarter length snakeprint coat in pink. The look is complete with skinny black jeans and white pointed toe pumps with black bow detail.
